Raft Building
The oldest team building activity: you have water, you have resources and you need to get across – dry if possible. The team has to improvise and use their initiative, learn new skills and work together to make it happen. We can add time limits, resource limits, flag making, treasure hunting for resources and much more to add to the challenge. [/one_third]

Survival Training
Our bush craft survival training sessions include shelter building, fire making, cooking on open fires as a minimum but can be extended to include tree climbing, archery, ballista construction and team competitions, such as steal the flag. We can also include a bespoke story line, such as a plane crash scenario, “LOST” or other topic of interest. [/one_third]

Search & Rescue
This scenario can be an evening or day time activity – the team is informed that a fell walker has been found on the hills surrounding Deneholme and once organised into three teams (stretcher builders, navigators and first aiders) they set of “to the rescue”. This is a fantastic task to challenge a team, put them under time pressure and learning life skills in emergency first aid. [/one_third_last]

Ballista Construction
The team is split into smaller teams of 4-6 young people and given a set of resources to construct a “ballista” – a device to fire tennis balls into a bucket places 40 feet away. They will have to use their equipment thoughtfully, negotiate a design and execute their plan as a team in order to achieve the task. A fabulously competitive challenge. [/one_third]

There is a huge number of different tasks we can offer to fit your needs – be it centered around confidence, communication, trust, motivation, leadership skills and much more! [/one_third]

Low Ropes Course
Our Deneholme low ropes course is currently under construction and we aim to complete by June 2014 – right after we finished our new high ropes elements. Low ropes are a fantastic team building and problem solving background – especially getting the message across, that “without the whole team – their ain’t no team!” [/one_third_last]

High Ropes Course
Up in the trees surrounding Deneholme, students and young people will have the chance to accomplish the Jacobs Ladder, a tree platform abseil and tree climb. These are individual as well as team challenges, each students gaining knowledge in rope work, overcoming fears of height and working as a team to accomplish the task. [/one_third]

Operation Nimrod
This is our popular special agent mission: a letter is delivered to a team, a suitcase flung into the grounds from a moving vehicle, telephone calls are coming in, clues have to be deciphered and meetings arranged to get to the bottom of this complex mystery and retrieve all the items intact and in time. Minimum age: 12. [/one_third]

Cluedo
This is our active murder mystery challenge – the team has to complete a number of small and big activities, find answers and retrieve items to be awarded with clues (20 in total) to solve the murder mystery. Once they found out whodunnit they are provided with a range of props and space to re-create the murder mystery – a hilarious spectacle not to be missed. [/one_third_last]

  1. Looking to get a group of around 10 serving personnel from RAF Boulmer, with the hope of it becoming a more regular activity if it proves to be beneficial. All and any physical activity will be great.

    1. Hi Ed, I have emailed you back on November 1st. Would you like to give me a call on 07971768993 to discuss this further? Linda
